When Samish Bay Soaps contacted us last year to help redesign their retail packaging, we hit them with a long list of questions they probably didn’t anticipate and their answers helped us come up with a packaging style and solution that helped get attention from shoppers and, maybe more importantly, made the process and cost of packaging much simpler and affordable.
The two part package you see on the retail shelf was created to allow for a large number of primary packaging prints (the consistent brown vertical band) and a smaller number of colored horizontal bands (one per scent) as needed. This allowed the company to save money on a larger print run, and not have to inventory the same number of color bands for products that may not sell as quickly as others.
We also updated the look of the packaging to be more attractive to their target audience and the SET LOOKS SO AMAZING TOGETHER!!!
